Mr James Mattison McBrayer, age 73, of 607 Ave R, Lipscomb, passed away Monday pm at the residence. Survived by 5 sons, J H, L H, D I, J A and R W McBrayer; 3 daughters, Mrs Jewel McCauley, Mrs Mildred Bowden and Mrs Bessie Haralson; 1 brother, W H McBrayer, 2 sisters, Mrs Nellie Bradford and Mrs Bertha Forrester; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services Wednesday, 2 pm from Union Baptist Church, the Rev James B Cambron and the Rev W H Mullins officiating. Interment Valhalla Cem. Brown-Service, Bessemer, directing.
