She was first married to Max Hollingsworth, who preceded her in death. In 1962, she was married to Oakel Fuller who died in 1979. On Dec. 18, 1990, inLafayette , she was married to Carroll Stewart, who survives.
Mrs. Stewart had resided in Lafayette for the past 15 years since moving from Brookston. She attended Congress Street United Methodist Church in Lafayette, and was a member of the Prairie Extension Homemakers Club in Brookston. She had taught school for 30 years in Cass and Howard Counties. Surviving are four stepdaughters, Mary Ferguson, Martinsville, Judy Bartlett, and Nancy Grider, both of Lafayette, and Loma Zaloudek, Lindenhurst, III.; three stepsons, Maurice Fuller, Monticello, Nelson Stewart, Avon, and Delbert Stewart, North Carolina; one sister, Helen Creager, Kalamazoo, Mich.; two brothers, Ralph Nelson and John Nelson, both of Walton; 18 stepgrand children; and 20 stepgreat-grandchildren.The Rev. Dale Ferguson will officiate at the services. Inturnment will be at a later date in Center EUB Cemetery in Young America. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the services on June 1 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made toa favorite charity.
