A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 1, 2001 at All Saints Episcopal Church, of which she was a member. The Reverend Fred Hoffman will officiate. Visitation will follow the Memorial Service in the Parrish Hall of the church. At other times, the family will be at the residence. Mrs. Ainsworth was born February 20, 1950 in Opa Locka, FL. She was the daughter of the late Harry Zeit, and the late Phyllis Anderson Zeit. Mrs. Ainsworth was employed as president of TSA The Leaders Edge. She was also a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners. The Susan Z. Ainsworth Scholarship Fund was established by the National Association of Women Business Owners in her name. Susan was a board member of Cabarrus Meals on Wheels. She was also a member of the Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce, where she did Leadershp Cabarrus.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Philip Ainsworth of the home; one son, Jeffrey Ryan Ainsworth and wife, Cayce, of Concord, NC; one daughter, Heather Anne Todd and husband, Lee, of Concord, NC; three brothers, Steven Zeit of Concord, Fred Zeit of Melbourne Beach, FL and John Ely of Laramie, WY. Grandchildren include Kieran Taylor Todd, Brody Nicholas Todd and Harry Austin Ainsworth.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Susan Z. Ainsworth Scholarship Fund, 11 Concord Commons, PMB 241, Concord, NC 28027.
