It is with great love and sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of Marjorie Deming (Marge) 99, Yarmouth on August 1, 2019 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter to the late Herbert and Emma (Clarke)Murphy. Marjorie worked for Kenney Supplies and EK Spinney for many years. She loved playing golf, enjoyed her garden and spending time with her cat, Maggie. She was a member of the Yarmouth Links Curling Club and the Beacon Untied Church. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Pero, Brooklyn; sister Eleanor (Leighton) Trefry, Berwick; grandchildren Jodi (Glen) d’Entremont; Kelly (Barry) Hurlburt; great grandchildren, Bailey, Brock, Gabrielle and Hunter. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Deming; stepson, Steven Deming; sisters, Glenna, Kathryn, Jeanette; brothers, Albert, Eghert, James, Malcolm; and son-in-law, Bazil Pero. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A private graveside service will be held at the Brooklyn Cemetery.
