Barbara S. Williams Marlatte

Barbara was born in the Kalamazoo Michigan area, the third of five children, to Herman and Helen Sunnock.
Barbara attended St. Thomas Aquinas Liberal Arts College in Grand Rapids, Michigan through her sophomore year. She then moved to Pasadena, California where she met and married her 1st husband, James H. Williams, Jr. It was not until after sons, Mark and Dwight were born that she returned to college, earning her teaching degrees at Los Angeles State College.
Barbara and Jack Marlatte married in 1967 and moved to Lincoln, California where son, Larry was born.
Barbara was preceded in death by both husbands; son, Dwight; and both sisters, Grace Lewis and Ruth Barnes.
She is survived by sons, Mark Williams and his wife Susie of Lincoln and Larry Marlatte of Auburn; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Stan and Don Sunnock of Michigan.
A Catholic funeral Mass will held Friday April 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln.
