Carl J. Wallitsch, 74, of Allentown, died Sunday in Liberty Nursing Home, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Helen B. (Ritz) Wallitsch.
He was a steward at Mountainville Fire Company, Allentown, for 15 years, retiring in 1983.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Celia (Frantz) Wallitsch.
He was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Allentown.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Daughter, Carla Barreca of Allentown; brothers, Alfred of Vineland, N.J., and Robert W. of Allentown; stepdaughters, Yolanda, wife of Richard Baumer of Exton, Chester County, and Ann Louise, wife of Clair Hess of Logansport, Ind., and three grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, O'Donnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Ave., Allentown. Call 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
