Mrs. Higgs, a Conway native, was born January 07, 1892, a daughter of A.S. and Florence Barley Lind. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Higgs of Greenbrier; six daughters, Mrs. Helen Stephenson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Mrs. Florence Miley, Mrs. Margaret Johnson, and Mrs. Marion Sue Peters, all of Conway, Mrs. Edna Bell of North Little Rock, and Mrs. Kittye Lind Gore of Memphis, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday by the Rev. Frank Kell and the Rev. L. E. Jolly at McNutt Chapel. Burial was in Gold Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Millard Bell, James Johnson, M.D. Peters, G.L. Miley, and Joey Higgs.
