Born in Rutherford County, NC; on December 15, 1940, daughter of the late Roy Allison (1905–1959) and Alice Whisnant Allison (1907–1990).
A member of Northside Baptist Church and worked as an assistant Cafeteria manager for Mecklenburg County Schools.
Also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Crawford; and brothers; Arthur Samuel Allison (1927-1963), Robert Eugene Allison (1930–2015), Buster Alliston, and Billy Yates Allison (1938-1979); and a sister, Rachel Allison Mull (1933–2019).
Survived by a daughter, Carol Stevens, brother, Edward Allison (Arlene); sisters, Freida McCarter (Roger), Elizabeth Logan (Phillip), and Aileen Adams; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 6, 2019, in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory; burial follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte.
The family received friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
