July 4, 1989.
Alfred L. Wallitsch, 80, of 1037-J Meadowyck Condos, Wescosville, died Monday in his home. He was the husband of Lena C. (Leidel) Wallitsch. They observed their 57th wedding anniversary in May.
Wallitsch was a title searcher in the Lehigh Valley area for 35 years before retiring in 1977.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Ludwig and Julia (Fabian) Wallitsch.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, and served on its council. Also, he was past president of the brotherhood and council member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridge Avenue, Allentown.

Survivors: Wife; son, attorney Thomas A. of Emmaus; daughter Carole, wife of Edward Staunch of Emmaus, and three grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit. Call 9-10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Arrangements, Horace W. Schantz Funeral Home, Emmaus.
