Daughter of the late Mr. Oscar Allen and Mrs. Stella Alexander Allen. She grew up in the Dewey Community one of 9 children. She attended Pine Log School. She worked for E-Z Mills before and after marrying Everett Hendricks. She spent much of her career at Shaw Industries. She was a talented seamstress, making beautiful quilts. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers; Wilford and Willie Allen, sisters; Thelma Belcher, LaNelle Kown, Dorothy Chastain, Evelyn McMicken, and Glenese Tatum. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Ann Garrison.
