--Valeita Alice Baker, the eight year-old daughter of William L. Baker and wife, of this town, was taken ill on Tuesday of last week with appendicitis and an operation was performed on Wednesday. She was doing nicely when peritonitis developed and she died on Saturday afternoon. Besides her parents she is survived by two sisters, Edna and Hazel Baker. Her funeral was held on Tuesday, at 2 p.m., at her late home. Rev. W. Bours Clarke, of Seneca Falls, officiating; burial in the Dublin cemetery.
The Index of Burials in Glenwood Cemetery has Veleta Baker with a 1926 burial date. Her stone is with her parents in Section 18. Assuming she was moved to the family plot when her father died.
