Surviving are his wife, Lora Jones Walker; a daughter, Nancy McPeters of Burnsville; three sons, Warren and Joel Walker of the home, James Smith of Calhoun, Ga.; two sisters, Ruby Plouff and Barbara Walker of California; a half brother, Kenneth Walker of Charlotte; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Zion Ministries Church. Zion Ministries officials and fellow ministers will officiate. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens. " The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home, where I the body will remain until 30 minutes before the services.
