Mrs. Viola B. Hughey

LOCK HAVEN - Mrs. Viola B. Hughey, 62, of 307 S. Fairview St., Lock Haven, died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday in Lock Haven Hospital where she had been admitted the day before. She had been in failing health for sometime.

She was born Nov. 29, 1913, in Fairpoint, a daughter of William and Clara Shade Kinley and was employed as a young woman at the Davis Restaurant in Lock Haven. She was later employed as a house mother at the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity for 10 years until her retirement four years ago.

She was a member of the Fairpoint United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hughey is survived by a brother, James F. Kinley of Dunnstown; a sister Mrs. Betty Jane Gottshall with whom she made her home; and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Clyde Hughey, is deceased.

HUGHEY —. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the John A. Yost Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, for Mrs. Viola B. Hughey, 62, of 307 S. Fairview St., Lock Haven. The Rev. Milton G. Killebrew will officiate and burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. Friends are being received in the funeral home after 12 noon Monday, Yost Funeral Home, Lock Haven.
