ANOTHER OLD KAMAAINA PASSES TO THE FURTHER SHORE

William Abbey, who has been ill for the past four months, died last Sunday evening at the Queen's Hospital and was buried yesterday afternoon at the Pearl City Cemetery.

Mr. Abbey was well known in Hawaii. He came here about 30 years ago from England. He was a brick layer and plasterer by trade and worked on almost every plantation on these Islands.

He married Miss Mary Mundon, daughter of the late James Mundon and sister of George Mundon of Kealia, Kauai. He leaves 5 sons and one daughter,; William H. James F., George C., Harry E., Albert A. and Flora S., all of whom have attended the Kamehameha Schools.

The services were conducted at the H.H. Williams undertaking parlors and a special train was dispatched to Pearl City Cemetery, where he was laid in his last resting place.
