A. J. Bristol, 87, of Nashville died Tuesday August 6, 2019 at his residence.
He was born November 27, 1931 in Tellico Plains, TN to the late Otis William Bristol and the late Lois Barr Bristol. He was retired from Dorsey Farms with 45 years of service and a member of Flat Creek Church. He was the widower of Ora Mae Bryan Bristol who died in 2010. He was preceded in death by a son: Walt Bristol and daughter: Betty Royals.
He is survived by 3 daughters: Barbara (Gene) Williams of Adel, Ree (Kim) Miller of Nashville and Nell (Danny) Guess of Gainesville; 3 sons: Jeff Bristol of Nashville, Billy (Debbie) Bristol of Nashville and Donald (Shirley) Bristol of Nashville; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother: Walter Bristol of Nashville; daughter-in-law: Tina Bristol of Nashville; son-in-law: Donald Royals of Nashville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 10, 2019 at 11 am in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey, Rev. Clarence Luke and Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 6-8 PM.
