Elna Fay Grabeel passed peacefully on the morning of October 16, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Elna was born in Cheapside, Texas then moved to San Antonio with her family where she met, and eventually married, the love of her life, Robert "Okie" Grabeel. They were married in 1948 and she lost him to cancer in 1974. She never remarried, saying she had already found love of her life for whom there could be no replacement. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and enjoyed being a military spouse for much of her life. She was an amazing home cook.
Visitation, Thursday , October 23, 6-8 at Sunset Funeral Home, Austin Highway.
Services, Friday October 24, 12:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home.
The graveside service will follow at 2:30, Ft. Sam.
