Raymond R. (Ray) Bilotti, 83, De Pere, died peacefully on March 16, 2008, with his family surrounding him. He was born Oct. 5, 1924, in Kenosha, to the late Nicholas and Angeline (Cerminara) Bilotti. Ray was a World War II veteran and was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart. Along with his brother, Ron, he was a long time business owner and helped introduce Italian cuisine to the area. Ray was a devoted supporter of his children's and grandchildren's activities. His love of music, arts and sports has influenced us all. He has a great sense of humor... "Giddy-up".

Survivors include his children, Debbie (Mike) Geurts, Dino (Kate) Bilotti, Dina (Steve) Soquet, James Bilotti, Teresa (Jim) Willliquette, Laura (Jeff Davis) Bilotti, and Pam Bilotti; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; his sisters, Angie and Dee; his brother, Ron; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, June; his parents, Angeline and Nicholas; his brother, Dan; and great-grandson, Noah.

Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street from 4 to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Father Gery Meehan, O. Praem., officiating. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Ray was an extraordinary father and grandfather. He taught us all the true meaning of family; to always respect, love, and care for each other.
