PITTSTON - Daniel D. W. Edison died at his home in Pittston Saturday afternoon. A native of Braintree, Vt., he was the son of Solomon and Eunice Stevens Edison. He is survived by two sons, Solomon and Freeman and a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Ausage of Whitefield, N.H. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Gardiner. [Kennebec Jounral, issue of March 17, 1947]

GARDINER - Funeral services for Daniel D. W. Edison were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pomeroy Funeral Home with the Rev. Martin T. Storms officiating. The body was placed in th receiving tomb and burial will be later in the Spring. [Kennebec Journal, issue of March 18, 1947]
