She lived all of her life in Milwaukee until 1999 when she moved to Pickerington to be with her daughter. She was an active member of the Pickerington Senior Center and Peace United Methodist Church; retired branch manager for US Bank and was a bookkeeper for Discount Drug Mart in Pickerington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell D Yahnke; and sons, Joseph A and Ignatius F Balistreri. Surviving are her children, Nanette (Bruce) Sorenson and Peter (Rosanna) Balistreri; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
