Donald Chester Rawlins, 79, of 4285 S. Broadway, Grove City, died 2:30 a.m. Nov. 11 following a 3/4 month illness. He was born Jan. 7, 1906, in Byer to William Lincoln and Sybil B. Robey Rawlins. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ralph E. (Sally Jo) Floyd; 101 Hughes Lane, Chillicothe; a son, Donald C. Rawlins, Jr., S. 22nd St, Columbus; three grandchildren, Janet Floyd and Jo-Ellen Mankin, both of Chillicothe, and Roger Floyd, Columbus; three step-grandchildren, Bitsie, Larry and Stephen Durhan, all of Columbus; five greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. James (Helen) Rhodes and Mrs. Ber-nice Reardon, both of Columbus; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Maeder-Quint Funeral Home, S. High St., Columbus, with Rev. Chip Heim officiating. Burial will follow in Grove City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.
