Beverly Ann (Baker) Hickey, 81, of Walton, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 11, 2019, surrounded by her family at Waterford Place in Kokomo.

Born on November 23, 1937, Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Orval and Gladys (Albertson) Baker.

On May 13, 1957 in Morristown, TN, she was married to John Thomas Hickey, who preceded her in death on November 3, 2003.

A homemaker, Beverly was a fervent prayer warrior and lifted both her worries and her praises to her Lord and Savior. Her priorities were love of God and love of family. Bev loved her family and friends. Being homebound for so long, she especially enjoyed their company.

Surviving are three children; one brother; "adopted" extended family; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and sixteen nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Bernard, Meredith, Robert, Bill and Jerry Baker; and three sisters, Marjorie Baker, Lois Woodward and Patsy Timmons.

A funeral service celebrating Beverly's life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in the Walton Christian Church with Pastor Bill Collins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Walton IOOF Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 5-7 PM on Friday, August 16, 2019 in the Walton Christian Church and one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the church.
