Danny Lee Dunovant, 50, lost a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday evening, October 7, 2006, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Wesleyan Church in Eden with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Dunovant was born in Rockingham County on April 13, 1956, to Lewis and Esther Minter Dunovant.
Danny loved fishing and was an avid muscle car enthusiast. He attended the Trinity Wesleyan Church and was previously employed with Tyco Electronics in Greensboro.
Danny was preceded in death by his father Lewis.
