Mourn not for her whose ashes slumber here
Her bliss must not be outraged by a tear
Where she dwells with seraphs round the throne
The woe and tears of earth are all unknown
And if kind memory lingers in her breast
Tis but to wish her dear ones with her bless'd.
But for those dear ones from her bosom torn
So young left motherless ‘tis kind to mourn
They by that parent pass'd unto the joy
Were cherished as the apple of her eye.
And now oh! Who shall hover round their bed
By whose soft heart their little feet be led…
