MELANCHOLY OCCURRANCE
On Tuesday morning last, the boiler on the Steam Saw Mill, recently erected by Mr. Henry Hoover, in Nimishillen township, bursted, and we regret to add, killed Solomon Grogg, Jr. and Abraham Smith, two worthy young men employed in the mill.
We have since learned that a man by the name of Reed, has died, of wounds recieved by the explsion. A young son of Mr. Hoover's was also injured.
Stark County Ohio did not record births and/or deaths until 1868 and many were recorded incomplete or not at all until the state took over in December of 1908.
