On Wednesday, July 24, 2019, God called his angel, Addie Mae "Bay" Arbuthnot Allen, home after blessing us with her presence here on this earth for 65 years.

Addie was born June 22, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Charles Cleveland Arbuthnot Sr. and Annie Turner Arbuthnot. She was the sixth of eight children.

She was a 1972 graduate of North Natchez High School, where she was elected Miss North Natchez High. Shortly after, she embarked on her life in Los Angeles. In 1973, she first started her career at TransAmerica where she remained until 1986. She later went on to Condusiv, formerly DisKeeper, as their telecommunications manager. During her 28 years, she acquired many life friendships and memories.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, she married her "love" and soulmate, Marcell L. Allen Sr. Soon after, she retired so she could spend more of her time being with her family and traveling with her "love." She enjoyed an abundance of hobbies that included cooking, gardening/painting rocks, sewing and playing cards.
Addie "Bay" was a strong woman who overcame every obstacle that came in her direction. Her beautiful soul and energy attracted friends from all corners of life.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Blaine Brown; her mother; one brother, Charles Cleveland Arbuthnot Jr.; and three sisters, Rose Marie Arbuthnot Arrington, Delores Arbuthnot Smith and Daisy Arbuthnot Baker.

Survivors include her loving husband, Marcell L. Allen Sr.; a caring father and his wife, Exelena; two adoring sons, Eric Brown and wife, Tahora, and Daryl Brown and wife, Margarita; one devoted daughter, Jayme Turner; two loving stepdaughters, Francis Munoz and husband, Francisco, and Alexis Allen; eight grandchildren, Ilana Brown, Jaylen Brown, Kayla Wilson, Blayne Brown, Ariana Brown, Cruz Munoz, Frankie Munoz and Romi Munoz; one brother, Clarence Arbuthnot and wife, Deborah; two sisters, Mary Arbuthnot Bates and Annie Arbuthnot Price and husband, Percy; a bonus daughter, Tigre Carroll and husband, Terence; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
