Mrs. Yount was a native of Lincolnton, N.C., having made the Belvedere-Augusta area her home for the past 45 years. She was a Baptist and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the University Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Jerry P. Yount, Hephzibah; two brothers, Ezel Schronce, Belton, S.C. and Jack Schronce, Mascot, Tenn.; a sister, Mary Frances Riviezzo, Iron Station, N.C.; three grandchildren, Alesia Ann Nicoli, Christopher P. Yount, Ashlee N. Yount; four great-grandchildren.
