On the evening of December 29, 1995, Nora Wells and her companion, Edward Charles Smith were struck by an automobile on the 2900 Blk of Las Vegas Blvd. N. Edward Smith was pronounced dead at 7:15 pm that evening. Nora lived for about a month, then died on January 27, 1996.
Nora was the daughter of William Eri Wells & Grace Eleanora Davies-Wells. She grew up in Portland, Oregon. On August 17, 1941, Nora married Frank Coupe in Multnomah county, Oregon. The couple later divorced on April 5, 1963.
