Carl P. Williams, 70, of 2597 Princeton, retired employee of Lingua Motor Works, died at 11:15 a.m. yesterday at Regional Medical Center at Memphis. Memphis Funeral Home has charge. He was a Baptist. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Shirley Ann Williams; six sisters, Mrs. Jessie Deprest of Amory, Miss., Mrs. Lloyd Roberts of Lepanto, Ark., Mrs. Vivian Taylor of Fort Smith, Ark., Mrs. Lois Ivy of Illinois, and Mrs. Flo Linzi and Mrs. Rena Langston, both of Memphis; three brothers, J.D. Williams of Memphis, Henry Williams of Columbus, Miss., and Wayne Williams of Reno, Nev., and a grandson.
