Rites Pending for Former Residents Killed in Wreck
Funeral services will be held in Waxahachie Tuesday for four former residents who were killed in an automobile accident near Buffalo around 8 a.m. Sunday. They are Mr. and Mrs. Elvin H. Adams of Huntsville and their two daughters, Nancy Carol, 14, and Betsy Ann, 11. Another daughter is in critical condition in a Teague hospital from injuries received in the accident. The Adams family was en route to Waxahachie when the accident occurred.
Mr. Adams, 41, was born and reared in Maypearl. He was a mechanic by trade and moved to Huntsville from Waxahachie five years ago.
He is survived by two daughters of Huntsville, a brother and sister of Dallas, and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Adams, 37, was the former Edith Frances Coulston of Waxahachie. Her survivers include her two daughters, her mother, Mrs. W.F. Coulston of Waxahachie, and three brothers, and four sisters.
The remains will lie in state at the Rudolph Funeral Home until the time of the services at the Farley Street Baptist Church. The Rev. L.H. Raney will officiate at the rites. Burial will be in City Cemetery in Waxahachie. The service hour had not be set at press time.
