Mr Emory Manning Reeves, of Route 2 Starr, died April 8, 1988, at his home. Born in Windsor, GA, he was the son of the late John E Reeves and Alice Manning Reeves. He was a retired dairyman and farmer.
He was a member of Ruhama United Methodist Church and the administrative board, was treasurer of the church, a choir member for 53 years, and was chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are two daughters, Mrs Marion (Shirley) Moore of Starr and Mrs Robert (Linda) Watson of Greenwood.
Services were held at Ruhama with burial in the church cemetery. McDougald Funeral Home assisted the family.
