He was born on July 31, 1948 in Munising to the late Donald and Hilma (Laytonen) Adair.

Denny graduated from William G. Mather High School in Munising in 1967.

On July 20, 1968, he married Regina Ann Paananen and together they raised their two children.

Denny began learning the art of masonry in high school, and carried on doing jobs for many years. He began his employment with Kimberly-Clark Corporation as a summer hire in 1968, then in 1969 he was employed full-time as a Utility Helper. Over his thirty-five years at the mill Denny moved into several senior positions in Truck, Roll Wrap, Coater and Quality. He retired from Kimberly-Clark on August 1, 2004 as a Specialties Operator.

Denny is survived by his children, Roger and Tracy ; grandchildren, Samantha, Taylor, and Breanna ; girlfriend, Réne; siblings, Lorraine, Karen, Dorothy, Betty, Judy, and Darrel; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins; and cat - Nikki.

He was preceded in death by his parents - Donald and Hilma; wife - Regina Adair; brothers - Ronald, Edward, and Sheldon Adair; and brothers-in-law - Ed Vertz and Bob Masters.
