Sherry was born in Mapleton, Iowa, to Carl and Helen Weifenbach. She had six brothers and five sisters. She moved to California in 1985.
She is survived by four children and eight grand children. She cared for her younger sister Yolanda for nine years. She fought a battle with cancer in 2005 and survived. She was cremated at Wiefels and Son Mortuary in Banning, Calif.
