He is the son of Georgia [League] Brewer and the late Charles Brewer.
He passed away in his sleep on Monday, June 27, 2016 following a long illness.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Brewer; and a sister, Sheila Gray Lusk.
He was a proud member of Bible Baptist Church in MacArthur and was well known in the immediate area for his expertise in floor coverings. His employment record included being the former owner of Ray's Carpet Barn and a professional for American Interiors, Gray Lumber Company and Direct Carpet.
Survivors, his wife, Carolyn [Lamb] Brewer; a son, Mark Harvath (wife Ruth); two grand-sons, Nolan Harvath and Colin Harvath; his mother, Georgia Brewer; three brothers, Charles 'Les' Brewer, Kenneth Joe Brewer (wife Shelby), and Gary Brewer; and two sisters, Glenda Kidwell (husband Tom) and Janice Keaton (husband Roger).
Funeral services at Bible Baptist Church at MacArthur, West Virginia at noon, Saturday, July 2, 2016 with the Rev. Danny Bowman and Pastor Tom Shepherd officiating. Burial at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, West Virginia.
