Hazel Mink Steckel, 100, of Frankfort, died Sunday, August 25, 2019. She was born April 8, 1919 in Boswell, Ind. to Clarence Stacey and Nora Ann (Callaway) Mink.
She married Charles Max Steckel on December 17, 1944 in Tipton, Ind. and he preceded her in death on January 22, 1996.
Hazel was a 1937 graduate of Tipton High School.
She was a member of Phi Beta Psi, Order of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite, Murat, and First Christian Church in Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Harold Mink and sister, Mildred Marie Ramey, and nephew, Mike Ramey.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 30, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort.
