"Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Beckham Jones, of Jefferson, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Union Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. W.H. Harris, Rev. B.J. Jackson and Rev. E.R. Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lewis and Walker Funeral Home. A Marion County native, she was the daughter of Henry Beckham and Octavia Roach Beckham. She attended Marion County public schools. She was a retired maid and a member of Queen Esther Lodge of the Order of the Eastern Star and Union Baptist Church. Survivors include three brothers, Nathaniel Beckham, of Dallas, Charlie Beckham and Rev. Henry Beckham Jr., of Jefferson; one sister, Pinkie Beckham, of Jefferson; and a number of nieces and nephews. A wake will be held tonight at the funeral home."
