Betty Jo Bish Johnston, 86, of Princeton died Monday, August 26, 2019 at her residence.
Born June 23, 1933 in Princeton she was the daughter of the late Carl Bish and Edith Mullens Bish.
Betty was a member of the Lilly Grove Baptist Church in Princeton. She was a homemaker and an avid doll collector.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawrence Johnston; and two brothers, Carl Bish, Jr. and Bobby Bish.
Survivors include three sons, Terry Gusler and wife Patti, John “David” Gusler and wife Becky all of Princeton; Marc Johnston and wife Shelley of Beckley, WV; three stepsons, Edward “Eddie” Johnston and wife Mary of Riner, Va, Larry Powell and wife Michelle of Pearisburg, VA, and David Johnston and wife Martha of Princeton; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Patsy Belcher of Huntington, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Bruce Woodson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Wednesday.
