Glenn Campbell, fifteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Campbell of Grand Island, was accidentally shot on Decoration day while out hunting. He died a short time after the accident happened. The remains were brought here for interment Tuesday. A short service was conducted at the cemetery by Rev. L.W. Myers of the Christian church (sic). The parents were in Nelson Saturday for the Decoration exercises and while here were advised by telephone of the accident. The mother is a sister of our townsman Frank Norwood. The boy was the youngest of a family of twelve children, and this was the first break in the family circle.
