Published in Star-Ledger, Newark, Essex, NJ, Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019:

Ann C. Esposito, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at her home in Bloomfield, N.J.

Ann was born in Bloomfield and remained a lifelong resident, attending Bloomfield High School and later moving down the street with her husband, Joseph, to their forever home.

Mrs. Esposito started off her career as a Singer seamstress; however, she would soon leave the working world to devote herself to being a stay-at-home mother. She later came out of retirement to work in the accounting department at Unisys as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed many things in life, including cooking, bowling, sewing and being the matriarch of her family.

She was a devoted wife to the late Joseph Esposito, and loving mother to Judy Esposito and her husband, Charles Bethel, Virginia McCulloch, Cynthia Duffy and her husband, Gerard, and the late Susan Winkler. There was no greater joy to Ann than to be surrounded by the love of her large family, and she is survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St., Bloomfield, N.J. on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation is on Monday from 2 to 6 p.m.
