Harvey A. Roberts, passed away at his residence. January 20, 1998. He was 56 years old. He married Shirley Charter Roberts in Luther, Okla. June 30, 1989. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the American Legion. He had a combined military service of 21 years, one year being in Viet Nam. He was currently employed at Tinker AFB where he had worked for 18 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; sons, Michael and Tommy; granddaughters, (twins) Kerra & Sarah; mother, Monie Bell of Heavener, Okla.; brothers, Everet of Okla. City, Harold & Chester of Heavener, Orivl of Stillwell, Okla.; sisters, Grace McGaha of Norman, Okla., Clara Washington of Heavener, Okla.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Martha Roberts, father, Clyde Roberts and sister, Ruby Luce. Graveside services will be held Sat., Jan. 24, 1998, at 1:00 pm at the Memorial Parke Cemetery in Heavener, OK.
