Bernard and Sue were married for 67 years. Sue and Bernard moved to California and both worked for Convair, an aircraft manufacturing company. Several years later, Sue and Bernard moved to Clayton, New Mexico to raise their family. They raised 5 children there; Gary, Sheri, Kent, Shawn and Mike.
Sue was very athletic and participated in a bowling league, fastpitch softball league (where she was a fierce lefthanded pitcher), and she loved to golf. Sue was a member of the Methodist Church.
Sue and Bernard retired and spent 17 years in Tucson, AZ at the Voyager Resort. Sue was able to enjoy plenty of golf, lots of friends and some hobbies that included painting, wood carving, stained glass. Sue was also a shuffleboard champion at the resort.
