Died January 15, 2012, widow of Oland Leonard Gurley. Sarah was the daughter of Congressman John J and Sarah McCullough McSwain. Mrs. Gurley graduated from Greenville High School and attended Greenville Women's College. She was an Administrative Assistant at Meyers Arnold. She became an executive assistant to the Head Master of Christ Church Episcopal School. From 1954 -1956 she was post Mistress to Donaldson Air Force Base.
Inurnment will be in Springwood Cemetery.
