Former Elmo Resident Will Be Brought Back to Elmo for Burial - Was 80 Years Old
Mrs. Martha Huff died Saturday evening at the home of her son, E. D. Huff, at Marion Nebr. She had been sick for about a week from paralysis.
Funeral services will be held at the M. E. Church, South, in Elmo and will be conducted by the Rev. E. J. Speer. Burial will be in High Prairie cemetery. The body will arrive in Elmo this evening.
Mrs. Huff was 80 years old and had formerly lived in Elmo. She is survived by six children, who are: Leslie and E. D. Huff, Marion Neb.; Mrs. Ada [Ida] Bales, Soldier, Kan.; Mrs. Eliza Plummer, Jamesport, Mo.; Walter and George Huff, Elmo. Two brothers, John Busch of Mound City and James Busch of Indiana survive."
