Scranton, PA, where he worked as a miner; 1877 in Titusville, PA (resided at 78 Monroe St., where he worked as a blacksmith); about 1882, near Youngstown, then back to Pittsburgh, then they moved to Chicago where he is in the 1892 and 1895 City Directories, and moved once again, listed on the 1900-1910 censuses in Elwood City, Pipe Creek, IN. 1880 to 1910, he listed his occupation as blacksmith.
On the 1870 Hyde Park, Scranton Ward 5, Luzerne Co., PA census, I found laborer in mine, Enoch Llewellyn, 21, in Wales; Elizabeth, 26, in Wales and Sarah, 11/12, in PA. They lived close to her parents and family: Edward Rasbridge, 52; Jane, 53; James or Jones, 26; Arthur, 18 and Edward, 16, all born in Wales.
On the 1880 Titusville 3rd Ward, Crawford, PA census, I found blacksmith Enoch Llewellin, 31; wife Elisa, 29; daughters: Sarah A., 10; Lena, 8; Margaret, 6; Annie, 4; Mary, 2 and Lizzie, 5/12. Parents born in Wales and their children all in PA.
On 9 Oct 1884, Enoch Llewelly, aged 36 years (about 1848) was naturalized. He entered the United States on 15 Oct 1866, a native of Wales. Ohio County Naturalization Records, Declaration of Intentions, Stark County, Vol, 2, p 448, LDS film #005468801.
On the 1900 (hard to read) Pipe Creek Twp., Elwood City Ward 1, Madison Co., IN census, I found blacksmith Enoch Llewellyn, 52, born Jan 1848, Wales; wife of 35 years, Eliza, 52, Jun 1848, Wales, had 16 kids, 14 living; sons or daughters: Enoch, 16, Sep 1883, OH; Adam, 14, May 1886, OH; Maria, 11, Mar 1888, PA; Bessie, 10, May 1890, IL and Martha, 7, Apr 1892, in IL.
On the 1910 Elwood Ward 1, Madison Co., IN census, I found foundry blacksmith Enoch Llewllyn, 62, born in Wales, married 50 years to wife Elizabeth, 63, Wales, had 16 kids, 16 living; daughter Martha, 17, IL and grandson Benjamin Catley, 9, in IN.
Enoch and Eliza, last resided on the 1910 Madison Co., IN. They are believed to have moved to Weirton, WV in 1914. Their daughter, Mrs. Sarah Ann L. Catley resided there. Searching for more data.
