DALEVILLE - George M. Bronnenberg, 65, Rt 1, Daleville, died yesterday afternoon at his home after an extended illness.
He was born in Salem township, February 4, 1899 the son of Peter and Eva Gold Bronnenberg and has resided in Delaware County all his life. He was a prominent farmer east of Daleville and a member of the Farm Bureau. He also belonged to the Daleville Methodist Church, Lions Club, American Legion and he was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include the widow Hazel and a son Wilmer at home, a foster daughter Mrs. Dorothy Fortson of Anderson, a nephew Robert Bronnenberg of Muncie, one brother Clarence Bronnenberg of Anderson and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Shirley Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Oechsle, Daleville Methodist Church in charge.
Burial will be in the Bronnenberg Cemetery, Chesterfield. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 11 a.m. today.
