Andrew died during treatment in a Lubbock Hospital for the multiple injuries he had received after he was accidentally struck by a passing vehicle in/or near Tahoka, Texas. His body was released for burial on 21 November 1933, in Lubbock, as per the official Texas Death Certificate #51655.
His wife Mattie predeceased him on 30 September 1922 (cause of death unknown) in McCulloch County, Texas and she was buried in the Lohn Cemetery, Lohn, McCulloch County, Texas, according to Lohn Cemetery burial records.
