Josephine Ann Donaldson Andersen, 73, died peacefully at home Tuesday, August 29th. Visitation is Wednesday, 5-8 P.M., at Lakewood Funeral Home.
Services are at the funeral home Thursday, August 31, 10:00 A.M., with burial
Following in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Andersen, a native of Alabama, had resided in Clinton for 16 years having moved into the area from Columbus, Mississippi, with her husband, Jack. Their
57th wedding anniversary was Monday, August 28th.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who was affectionately known as
"Mom Mom". She loved having her grandchildren around her.

Before her illness, Mrs. Andersen loved creating flower gardens. She once owned a floral shop. She was an avid bridge player and an officer in the Newcomer's club of Clinton. Her hobbies included oil painting and writing. She attended
church services at the Clinton Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, William C. Andersen (Jack); daughter Frances Lewis and husband Bruce of Weatherford, Oklahoma; son, Steve Andersen and
wife, Kathie, of Clinton; honorary son Ernest Lang and wife Pam of Columbus.
The grandchildren are Matthew Lewis and wife Diana of Saginaw, Texas;
Kimberly Chavez and husband Andrew of Chicago, Illinois; Sophorn Pich and wife Khesey of Mesquite, Texas; Chris, Katie and Jordy Andersen of Clinton;
Ernest Lang, Jr., and Cassie Lang of Columbus, Mississippi. There are 6 great
grandchildren.
She is also survived by two brothers and a sister with whom she tried to say in touch especially after the death of their parents Wallace and Josephine Varnon Donaldson. They are Byron Donaldson and wife Kaye of Tupelo; Tommy Allen Donaldson and wife Cathy of Memphis, Tennessee; and her sister Nancy D. Vickery and husband, Glen of Daphne, Alabama, along with their children respectively.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to those who provided the loving care for Jo Ann: Dr. Patterson, Southern Care Hospice, Melissa Jackson, Dee Dee
and Linda McInnis.
