Died at 3:10 o'clock, Monday morning, July 5, 1915 at the family residence, one mile east of Cotton Hill, Elijah Bradshaw, aged 84 years.
Mr. Bradshaw was born in Pike county, July 18, 1830, and came to Sangamon county in 1849. In 1852 he married Miss Lila Shoup, who died eight years later. In 1874 he married Emily Downing.
He is survived by two sons, John E. Bradshaw, at home, and George T. Bradshaw of near Pawnee; three grandchildren, Helen, Marjorie and Bernard Bradshaw.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon at the residence, the Rev T.B. Wright of Rochester, officiating. Burial will be in Newcomer cemetery.
