Winfield Wesley Kilmer was my Mother's father, and of course my grandpa. He went by W.W. Kilmer.
W.W. Kilmer was born to Charles Adam Kilmer, and Estella Mae Whiteley Kilmer, the 5th of 6 children. He married Harriett Verkuyl in 1934. Three daughters were born to this marriage, one being my mother.
They divorced, and he remarried Pearl LaChappelle. He and Pearl went on to have four sons and one daughter.
He was survived by three sons and four daughters, many grandchildren; sisters Laura and Elvina, brother Melvin, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife Pearl, and their youngest child Bruce, both in 1976; a brother John Maurice, his sister Marion, and his parents.
