The death of Morton M. Campbell, which took place at his home, 73 South avenue, this morning, between 3 and 4 o'clock, comes with a shock to this community in which he was well and favorably known, notwithstanding the fact that Mr. Campbell had been ill for quite a long time.

The immediate cause of Mr. Campbell's death was a complication of diseases. He had been complaining more or less all winter but it was only within a week or so that the disease assumed a serious stage.

Deceased was 46 years of age and had been engaged in the grocery business in this city for a long time. A widow and five children - three sons and two daughters - survive him. He was a member of Bridgeton Lodge of Odd Fellows and Hope Council, No. 3, Jr. O.U.A.M.

Due notice of the funeral appears elsewhere in this paper.
