Funeral services for Mr. Leonard C. Martin, age 75, of Fayetteville conducted at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. James Willard Medley officiating. Burial in Flintville Cemetery. Mr. Martin died Sunday at his residence.
He was a native of New Hope, AL and the son of the late Ernest and Girtha Mae Meeks Martin and was retired from Genesco.
He is survived by his wife Wilma Carlisle Martin of Fayetteville, daughter Sandra Baty and husband Larry of Scottsboro, AL, son Jack Martin and wife Denise of Scottsboro, AL, two brothers Holliman Martin and wife Betty and James Martin and wife Dovie all of New Hope, AL, three sisters, Magdaline McCowan of Detroit, MI, Sue Neil Mefford of Chicago, IL, and Joyce Partain of New Hope, AL, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four nieces and nephews.
In addition to being preceded in death by his parents he was also preceded in death by sister Sara Mae Jones.
